Denver Grizzlies worn by Kevan Guy (and some guy who got oil all over it). It's a size 54 Bauer ultrafil with all the trimmings (stuffing, cranberry sauce and home made gravy). Anyhow I was offered this jersey by Ralfie (500Goals on the Forum) in Denver who bought it off of an Avalanche season ticket holder. The guy (not Kevan) had bought it at the team auction after they had won the Turner cup in 1995. Unfortunately he got oil (or very greasy gravy) all over it and it wasn't going to just "come out in the wash". It took over 10 applications to get it all out. The process took out the oil but also took out the "general filth" as I like to call it. It's a white jersey now. It didn't have much wear anyway; a few small stick/puck marks that still remain. Kevan didn't play many games (3) with the Griz. In fact it was the end of his pro hockey career. Acquired from a fine Forum member Dec 2007. |
