Dan Sanscartier wore for part of the 82-83 Komets season. It's made of a light weight small mesh polyester material. The crest and striping are screened on but for some reason the numbers are sewn. I bought the whole set and there were only two that were the standard tackle twill the rester were screened. The fight strap was a coin with a skate lace. It was removed long ago but you can still see the indentation. Dan backstopped 40 games for Fort Wayne that season. There are a few puck marks on the front and shoulders and there's a couple of skate cuts on the front underneath the crest. I think this was a late season replacement jersey. Acquired from a private collector 9/01/07. |
