"Madman" Steve Fletcher wore this XXL HiLi Ice Sheen jersey for the 90-91 season. He had over 300 PIM's that year in almost 80 games. It has been seriously customized for his play. It has a 4" panel added on each side and an additional 2" panel in the sleeves (they are huge). All color bands are cut and sew. The saw-blade logo is a screened on patch and then sewed to the jersey. There are two color numbers on the back only. I'm not sure if they used them on the shoulders that season. This jersey is hammered. The sleeves have tons of unrepaired holes. The jersey looks like it's been bleached . There's very faint signs of blood on the front and the crest is faded. The nameplate is made of a different material (mesh) but the letters are the standard tackle twill block font. It looks like Steve had this jersey literally torn off of him. The neck has been re sewn in the front, back and around the collar. There is a repair down each shoulder from the collarbone blade a few inches. You can see where the fabric is weakened from being pulled and streched. The fightstrap has been completely torn out and the trainer attempted to put it back together. The Perfection Bakeries sponsor patch is embroidered directly into the fabric so it's not really a patch I guess. The embroidered HiLi patch on the tail is sewn on. Acquired from Stolidog on e-Bay... 9/15/07. |
