This Kalamazoo Wings jerseys was worn by Pete Crawford for their 78-79 Turner Cup Championship season. The Wings beat the Grand Rapids Owls in a 7 game series. Not sure who made this because the jersey only has a size 46 tag remaining. Look like there was a manufacturers label in the neck but it's gone now. There's no signs of a nameplate being used either. The fight strap has been cut out. The crest is 3 color cut out twill. that been sewn to the front of the jersey. The numbers are hand cut and sewn. It looks to have been washed as the stick and puck marks are very faded. There some nick board burns around the waist in the back. There are some very nice repairs; The front of the jersey has been ripped from the V in the neck to the top of the crest and resewn. There's also a 4" repair to the neckline area on the right side. The back #2 has had a skate slash through the twill and mesh. It has a 1-1/2 " repair as well. Acquired from Joe Polsano at www.gameworn.com Aug 2007. |
