In the IHL's heydays (when they had the most teams) TV producer Barry Kemp bought the San Diego Gulls franchise and moved it to LA. They lasted 1 year before they were relocated to Long Beach. This fine example was worn by (appropriately) Steve Junker. The paws on the sleeves and the chains around the waist are sublimated but the crest and shoulder paw-prints are fully embroidered. Okay wear for 7 games he was with the club. A few board burns on the elbows, a small splotch of orange board paint on the right shoulder and some dried blood marks arounf the neck. It has the IHL and Bauer patches on the tail. Acquired from my pal, Joe Walker. |
