This is an older Milwaukee Admirals heavy mesh jersey made by Sandknit. It's tagged as a size medium but I would guess it's at least a 52. Rich Sirois wore #57 for 4 seasons (80-85) but the Sandknits were worn in the late 70's with leads me to believe this was used for the 79-80 season. The jersey has softened with obvious wear. Most of the puck marks have been washed out by someone but it has 15 small repairs on the left sleeve and mid body. It has been altered by adding panels to the lower sleeves. The crest and mid waist anchors are screened with a rubbery paint. The numbers are done in the same style but with a heavier application. Acquired from Rich at Spirit of the Game who also issued the LOA. |
